Capacitive Proximity sensor is non-contact sensing solution to metalic as well as non-metalic object. With adjustable sensitivity almost any medium can be detected with desired reliability.
OPERATION
When the object enters in the sensing zone of the switch, capasitance bwtween two plates of capacitior (one plate is represented by electrode at the sensing face to the switch and another by all surrounding material which is connected to earth) changes. As soon as capacitance value crosses preset level, oscillators starts. This change is detected and resulted in an output signal.
